Private + White Labeling

• White Labeling: using a customer’s label on an MamaSuds’ product and packaging
• Private Labeling: filling an MamaSuds’ product or ingredient into a customer’s packaging. We also do contract manufacturing.

Filling projects require a complete formula and a sample of your packaging (boxes, bottles, tubes, caps, lids/pumps and labels) to produce an accurate quote.

WL (White Label): MamaSuds’ minimum depends on the product, most items are 12-24 units per SKU or $250 on large bulk items. 
PL (Private Label): MamaSuds’ minimum depends on the product, most items are 12-24 units per SKU or $250 on large bulk items. 

White label filling projects require labels that have been approved by MamaSuds.  Deposit on white labeling filling projects is 60% of total project and must be paid before manufacturing will begin.

MamaSuds’ formulation fee is $150 per hour plus cost of supplies for Custom and Semi-Custom Formulations. The total cost will vary depending on the number of formulations needed, supplies, and duration of the overall customization process. Custom and semi-custom projects will be billed weekly and must be paid in full. 

• Custom Formulation – customer works with MamaSuds to create new formulation based off customer’s needs/wants.
• Semi-Custom Formulation – making small changes to existing formula provided by customer including reformulation of emulsifying system or preservative system.

If a customer has an ideal formula example, a sample should be provided to MamaSuds. All custom or semi-custom formulations and methodology are property of MamaSuds and are being licensed to the client. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be signed to keep customer formulations confidential. Special ingredients not in-house and needing to be sourced by MamaSuds will be included in the customer’s cost of goods. Customers also have the option to supply us with special ingredients as long as it is accompanied by proper documentation and approved by MamaSuds.

Once a formula is agreed upon, MamaSuds will provide a quote for going into production at our facility and the customer will have the option to purchase the formula and all related methodology.

If a private label filling project includes labels already created and shipped to MamaSuds, there is no additional fee to cost of goods. Private labeling filling projects must be paid in full before manufacturing will begin.

MamaSuds offers two options for product packaging – MamaSuds can source customer’s packaging at a 12% fee or customers can send MamaSuds specific packaging at no additional cost. For both scenarios, packaging must be present in MamaSuds’ facility before manufacturing of an order can occur. Manufacturing timelines are based on after product packaging is received by MamaSuds. In order to supply an accurate quote, packaging must be discussed, agreed upon and a sample sent to MamaSuds. Nearly any type of material will be accepted, but please keep in mind certain types of packaging and materials are subject to additional handling and shipping charges. 

Estimated lead times depend on a customer’s service, arrival of all customer’s components (packaging, labels, boxes, etc.) volume amount and bearing no natural disasters.
