Castile Soap Paste
•ingredients: saponified olive oil
Want to save money by adding your own water for your refill stations or back bar? One bag of paste will make 12-15 gallons of traditional unscented castile soap. You can add your own essential oils after dilution.
Needs to be diluted with purified, RO or distilled water. Distilled water or commercial RO water is recommended.
The following ratios can be used for measuring:
21 to 25 ounces net weight of paste to make 1 gallon of liquid soap
Method for dilution:
Place the amount of soap you want in a stainless steel pot. Add your distilled water and place heat on medium low. You do not want it to boil. Stir or use an emulsifier stick to break up the paste. Cover pot and check often. Once the paste is dissolved, cover pot, shut off the stove and wait for it to fully cool.
Comes packaged in two 10 pound bags.
