Concentrate what we ship
Many household cleaning products consist largely of water. Our concentrated formulas allow customers to add water at home, reducing shipping weight and the amount of packaging required per use.
Welcome to our Wholesale, Private Label, and White Label site
At MamaSuds, sustainability is not a marketing campaign or a product category. It guides how we formulate, manufacture, package, and distribute the products families use every day.
We believe meaningful sustainability requires looking at the entire lifecycle of a product. That means considering ingredients, packaging, shipping weight, recyclability, breakage, product performance, and what happens after the product is used. We do not believe one material or one label solves every environmental problem.
These priorities guide our product development and everyday business decisions.
Many household cleaning products consist largely of water. Our concentrated formulas allow customers to add water at home, reducing shipping weight and the amount of packaging required per use.
Refill companies make up the largest portion of our wholesale customer base. By supplying independent refill stores, we help consumers reuse containers and access lower-waste cleaning products within their own communities.
Where plastic is necessary, we use recyclable HDPE packaging. We pair it with concentrates, refill formats, and products intended to reduce the amount of packaging needed over time.
We make real soap and household cleaners from scratch using simple, clearly disclosed ingredients. Our products are biodegradable, vegan, cruelty-free, and made without synthetic fragrances, dyes, sulfates, or phthalates.
We continually evaluate new packaging and product-delivery materials. This includes working with a materials company developing a plant-based, water-dissolvable resin as a potential alternative to conventional PVA pod film.
A sustainable product must also work. We develop concentrated and refillable products that are effective, approachable, and realistic for families to continue using long term.
Glass is reusable and recyclable, but it is also heavier to ship, more likely to break, and often requires additional protective packaging. Breakage can create wasted product, damaged shipments, and replacement deliveries.
For a company shipping liquid cleaning products, those trade-offs matter. We evaluate packaging based on its complete impact rather than how sustainable it appears on a shelf.
We track adoption of concentrates and the growth of our refill-focused wholesale network.
Concentrate figures are based on direct-to-consumer sales during 2025. Wholesale growth reflects orders placed through our wholesale store. Many of our wholesale partners operate refill and low-waste retail businesses.
Conventional laundry and dishwasher pods commonly rely on PVA film. While the film dissolves during use, questions remain about what happens after it enters wastewater systems.
MamaSuds does not currently use PVA pods. We are working with a company developing a plant-based resin designed to dissolve in water as a potential alternative. The project is still in development, but it reflects our commitment to exploring better materials before bringing a new format to market.
Our sustainability strategy is ongoing. We review progress through measurable product and business outcomes.
We track how many concentrated and refill-format products customers purchase and the amount of ready-to-use product those concentrates replace.
We monitor new and returning wholesale customers, particularly refill companies that make lower-waste products accessible in their local communities.
We continually review packaging durability, weight, recyclability, refillability, and new material options before making changes.
We clearly disclose our ingredients and explain what each one does, helping customers make informed decisions without relying on vague “green” or “natural” claims.
We test products for dependable cleaning performance because the environmental benefit is lost when a product does not work and must be replaced or used in excess.
MamaSuds will continue reducing unnecessary packaging and shipping weight, supporting refill businesses, improving material choices, and giving families honest information about the products they bring into their homes.
